My name is Ruky Obahor, the founder of MBTW (Meeting By The Well) Foundation, Uganda—a foreign NGO dedicated to supporting young women in Uganda through education, mentorship, and practical empowerment.
Our work began with a simple desire: to stand with girls who show resilience and determination, even when life has placed heavy burdens on their shoulders.
Today, I am raising funds for two remarkable young women, Jovia Musimenta and Kamuyati Nandase also known as Sophie. Both of them are Ugandans who come from challenging backgrounds where financial hardship has threatened their ability to pursue an education. Yet despite these obstacles, they’ve remained focused, hardworking, and full of hope.
You can read more about them by following the link below:
I am raising funds to help both ladies continue and complete their education. Your support will go directly toward tuition fees, scholastic materials, accommodation support (where needed), practical work‑placement opportunities through the MBTW Foundation and so on.
This cause is deeply important to me because I’ve seen firsthand how education transforms lives. I’ve watched these young ladies fight to stay in school, choosing hard work and integrity over harmful alternatives. They’ve come this far because people believed in them—and with your help, they can go even further.
Every contribution, no matter the size, brings Jovia and Sophie one step closer to completing their studies and building lives of purpose, stability, and dignity. Thanks in advance for being part of their journey.
