Empower Traxtyn's Global Learning Adventure

Hi, my name is Traxtyn, I am 14 years old and in the 8th grade at a Middle in Kansas. I am trying to raise money for an Education First trip to Paris, London and Normandy that will take place in May of 2025 with my school.

I had the opportunity to travel with Education first to New York in the summer of 2023 and now I have been presented by my teacher to go on this trip.

I am very involved with my school, I am currently the 8th grade Student Council Vice President, mentor in our school's Circle of Friends organization and a yell leader on the cheerleading squad and on the Honor roll for the last 3 1/2 years.

I am the only child of a single-parent family. My mother works very hard to ensure that I have all the opportunities to travel and be in clubs, sports etc. that she missed out on. I too help raise money for my educational trips, I mow lawns, scoop snow, clean out garages, etc. I feel that the opportunity to go on these Education First trips will give me hands-on experience and scenarios. These experiences will not only enhance my learning but develop a deeper connection with my mother and family, as I can come back and tell them of all my connections and interactions, with the people, architecture, cuisine, and cultures that I have learned in these beautiful cities.
