Quinn (they/them) is a gender-affirming vocal coach and the dedicated founder of Quintessential Voice Lessons, LLC. Their dedication to helping trans and gender non-conforming (GNC) individuals find authenticity in their voices is changing lives.
The Mission:
At Quintessential Voice Lessons, the mission is to provide accessible gender-affirming voice lessons to all who seek them. Quinn believes that helping individuals feel confident and empowered in their voices is an important form of affirming care that provides safety within the trans and GNC community.
Why It Matters:
Trans rights, including access to necessary and life-saving healthcare, are under constant aggressive attack. Discrimination leads to financial insecurity, creating substantial barriers to accessing essential practices like voice work. This campaign prioritizes BIPOC and trans women, ensuring that those most in need can receive crucial support.
QVL’s Focus:
In 2023, Quinn provided 90+ hours of free voice lessons. Their goal is even bigger in 2024, and with your support, they hope to make an even more substantial impact in the lives of trans individuals seeking affirming care. The starting goal for their Pride Month fundraiser of $2,000 dollars will provide 20+ lessons to trans individuals seeking affirming care.
