Hey guys! My name is Desiree and I’m the Mom of an amazing 14 year old 5-fingered boy named Toby! Toby was born missing his left hand, more than likely due to amniotic banding in utero. He is an amazing and resilient kid and has never let his limb difference hold him back from accomplishing everything he’s ever set his mind to doing. He has been granted the opportunity to receive a Hero Arm through Open Bionics and this is an amazing opportunity for him! Luckily insurance will cover some of the cost, but we are still needing to come up with $3,000 towards the cost and any extra would be helpful to put towards travel and lodging, as we will have to travel to Austin several times during the process.
