Hello you all. My name is Tiziano and my mom is an artist who for a reason (most likely connected to my bad behavior as a hyper-energetic kid constantly in trouble) or another (…ugh fine! Probably also me), has never gotten to fully express her artistic gift. In retrospect, from my adult point of view, I can definitely see how hard it was for her to give up on her dream of pursuing her passion. Dictated by circumstances and family financial struggles, she just let that bright light inside her core fade over time. Why? "There has never been a second in my life where I doubted my choice of being a full-time mom and a valid member of the community I’ve lived and loved over my own personal career." She sacrificed so much for us when we were kids, and I can’t help but keep thinking of how her artwork could have developed, what those lines on paper could have led up to, and how many stories she could have told using a pencil. It’s time for me to step in and give her back the possibility, though late in life, to finally have that chance she missed to find her voice to express herself, even if via only pencil and paper. As simple as this is, reality always grounds our feet to the ground with practical, not very artistic issues like funding! Art costs money and time. I wanna give her both. Can you help me open up a website to dedicate it to making her hard work visible to reach anybody who inevitably falls in love with my mom's art?
