Empower Tekerz Robotics to Compete Globally
Donation protected
The Tekerz Robotics Team from Burien, WA (FRC 3574), has overcome numerous challenges in the past 18 months, including break-ins, thefts, and a lack of support from the Highline School District. Despite these setbacks, the team has thrived, doubling in size and pushing forward with incredible teamwork and innovation. They’ve qualified for the PNW Championship and are now on the verge of qualifying for the FIRST Robotics World Championship in Houston, TX.
While traveling to an Oregon competition, their trailer was involved in an accident, but with help from 15 other teams, they managed to get back on track. As mentor Raj Nahal said, this experience showed that robotics is about resilience and community.
The team now faces significant travel costs for the World Championship, and your donation can help them overcome these hurdles. Any unused funds will go toward next season, as funding remains uncertain. Support their journey and ensure their future success by contributing to their goal.
Thank you for supporting local youth, STEM education, and the future of robotics!
