Empower Teachers and Orphans in Guatemala

Exciting news! I have said yes to a mission trip to Guatemala City from June 14-21 to serve at an orphanage and support local teachers. This opportunity is deeply personal, as God placed orphanages on my heart during college, but I never had the chance to act on it—until now.

A few weeks ago, I felt led to invite a fellow teacher at my school to sit with me at church. She had just moved to town and didn’t know anyone. Two weeks later, she shared that God had placed it on her heart to ask me to join her family on this mission trip. It is incredible how the Lord works!

Alongside 9 other women, including another teacher, I will:

• Support and train teachers by sharing my experience in education

• Spend time with children at the orphanage, providing love and encouragement

• Visit a state-run orphanage to serve children in need

• Distribute water filters, food, and essential supplies to individuals in the community
