Hi, I’m Pedro! I’m headed to Tanzania on a mission trip with the Graceful Warrior Project to support young girls who’ve survived trafficking, abuse, and abandonment. We’ll be teaching self-defense through jiu-jitsu, sharing the love of Jesus, and reminding them of their purpose, value, and worth in Him. The Graceful Warrior Project's Mission:

It empowers local, indigenous leaders through four pillars of self-defense: Physical, Spiritual, Intellectual, and Economic. They believe lasting change comes from a holistic, locally led approach—and through God, they’re helping women move from crisis to confidence, leadership, and independence.

During our time in Tanzania, our team will lead a summer camp for school-aged girls at the safe house and nearby communities. Each of us will use our unique gifts to teach something fun and meaningful. We’ll also support daily worship, help with general upkeep, and do hands-on work to improve and expand the safe house.
