Youth Against Abuse is a youth-led nonprofit dedicated to fighting domestic violence, child abuse, and sexual abuse through education, advocacy, and direct support for survivors. We believe that no one should ever feel powerless, silenced, or forgotten.

Our Mission

We exist to:

1. Educate students, families, and communities about recognizing abuse, understanding consent, and finding safety.

2. Advocate for stronger protections and real accountability through petitions, policy reform, and peaceful protest.

3. Support survivors in shelters and courtrooms through emotional outreach, resource drives, and emergency fundraising.

4. Amplify voices of abuse victims by sharing their stories in schools, online, and public spaces.

Why We Need Your Help

Started by a 16 year old with a history of a generational abuse cycle, youth volunteers from around the globe gather trying to do the work that too often gets ignored: showing survivors they are not alone.

Your donation will help us:

• Fund school visits with survivors, advocates, and officers who teach students how to recognize and report abuse.

• Print posters, safety cards, and petitions that spread awareness in schools and neighborhoods.

• Host drives for shelters in need of hygiene items, clothes, and comfort toys for children.

• Provide emergency legal support to survivors fighting for justice.

• Deliver handwritten cards and journals to shelters that remind survivors: You are believed. You are strong. You are not alone.

What We Do

Education & Awareness

We partner with survivors and law enforcement to teach students and parents about body safety, consent, and signs of abuse.

We hold webinars, design posters, and lead online campaigns that spread truth, hope, and prevention tools.

Advocacy & Policy Reform

We organize petitions that call for policy change — from removing abusers from schools to holding courts accountable for lenient abuse sentences.

Our members observe trials, document injustices, and ensure victims aren’t silenced in the system meant to protect them.

Support & Empowerment

Our “Cards for Healing” program delivers love and encouragement to survivors in shelters.

We distribute journals for healing, books about consent for children, and raise funds for those facing court costs in abuse cases.

Community Engagement

We set up booths at local events to educate the public, host shelter drives for essential supplies, and organize fundraisers that directly benefit survivors and safe houses.
