Is it too early to consider back-to-school preparations? While the kids may be thinking ahead, it’s never too soon for us to support our local students. CPCCo’s annual school supply drive will be held from July 14 to August 5, dedicated to providing young learners with the tools necessary for success.
Your contributions have a meaningful impact—assisting students in obtaining essential supplies, reducing barriers to learning, and fostering their confidence. Teachers also benefit, often purchasing classroom supplies out of their own budgets. Donation boxes will be available at the Fermi building for your contributions.
We are pleased to announce that, for the third consecutive year, CPCCo’s Engineering and Nuclear Safety team will assemble backpacks filled with employee-donated school supplies. The more supplies we collect, the more backpacks we can prepare for students in need. Contributions made through the designated GoFundMe will directly support this initiative.
This year, we are partnering once again with Communities in Schools of Benton-Franklin (CISBF), whose team works directly within K-12 schools to establish strong relationships with students and families, ensuring they receive the support they need. Additionally, we are supporting SHAKE (Seniors Helping All Kids Education), an organization that has been empowering local students for nearly 30 years.
To maximize the impact of your donation, consider taking advantage of summer sales on school supplies—purchasing in July allows your contributions to go further. Collection points will be set up across CPCCo projects for easy drop-off of supplies.
Together, we can make a positive difference in the lives of students and educators in our community. Thank you for your generosity and support.
We appreciate your participation, commitment and generosity!
