My name is Tenaya and I’m fundraising for Recovery Road Runners, INC. 87-2013800.

I am 15 years sober and running has become more than just exercise for me; it's therapy, a celebration of strength, and incredible possibilities for personal growth. I never thought of myself as a trail runner nowhere but yet here I am! I will be running my first trail race: Folsom Lake Crest Trail run on March 29, 2025.

RRR's mission to empower individuals to stay sober through running truly inspires me. That's why I'm lacing up my shoes and fundraising for this event. I'm determined to be a part of the solution, one mile at a time. This journey isn't just about crossing the finish line; it's about creating a path towards a brighter future for myself and others.
