Hi, my name is Shalley,

A little while ago, my life looks very different. Addiction had taken me to a place I never thought I would be. But today, I'm in recovery and living in a sober living home where one day at a time I'm working to rebuild my life.

Recovery has given me something I almost lost - hope.

Right now I'm doing everything I can to stay on the right path. I'm attending meetings, focusing on my future, and trying to create a stable life again. But one challenge I'm facing right now is transportation.

I do have a car, but I can't legally drive it yet because it needs to be smogged and registered before it can be on the road again. The total cost for the smog check, registration, and related fees is more than I'm able to afford right now while getting back on my feet.

Without reliable transportation, simple things become difficult - getting a job, attending recovery meetings, making appointments, and continuing to build a stable routine that supports my sobriety.

Getting my car back on the road would truly change everything for me right now. It would allow me to:

•Get to a job consistently

•Attend recovery meetings and support groups

•Stay accountable in my recovery

•Build Independence and stability

I'm raising $600 to cover the smog inspection, registration, and required fees to make my car legal to drive again.
