Empower Sean Through Financial Support

Hello. I am Sean, a 54 year old male with progressive Multiple Sclerosis. I currently walk with two canes and barely get around. I believe I'm headed for a wheelchair soon. Hoping not though.

I am starting this fund for two reasons. First reason is to hopefully get money for stem cell therapy. Found a place that charges $12,500 - it is not currently covered by insurance. Actress Selma Blair, who has MS, received stem cell therapy and saw dramatic improvement. My hope is that it works for me just as well and be able to walk again, unassisted.

The second reason is that I am currently out on medical leave and finances are significantly lacking. Short term disability is $500/week maximum - before tax - and that has to be approved at that amount. No decision as of this being written. SSDI takes usually 6-9 months before they decide on a case. So I've estimated what t would take to get me to SSDI.

I really appreciate anyone able to help me out with this. This is not something that came easy for me to do.
