Empower San Francisco Youth with Youth 1st

My name is Renard Monroe and I'm the Executive Director of Youth 1st. A year round after-school and summer program located in the OMI/Lakeview neighborhood of San Francisco.

If you would like to help support our mission of providing access and opportunity to the youth in San Francisco, please donate. Youth 1st provides one on one tutoring, STEM, homework assistance, mentoring, art classes, clown classes, karate classes, boxing classes, skateboard classes, recreation and field trips. Youth 1st also provides safe passage and meals to our participants daily.

Each year Youth 1st hosts 3 events open to the entire community. In July we have our Annual Family Day and in December we have our Annual Holiday Extravaganza. These community events include free food, games, entertainment, community resources and toy and bike giveaways.

In August we have our Annual Awards and Comedy Show where we come together to recognize community heros and share a night of laughter and fun.
