My name is Amanda Brodie. I have the most amazing 4 year old daughter that was diagnosed with a genetic disorder at birth. Ryan was diagnosed with Trisomy X, a chromosomal defect that causes XXX instead of the usual XX pairing. This extra X chromosome is why she’s even more extra special to me. With Trisomy X, there can be developmental delays, learning delays, sensory processing difficulties, emotional regulation issues, and social anxiety. The coverage to get the necessary treatment of occupational therapy and behavioral therapy has been denied by insurance. We will have to pay out of pocket and it gets quite costly. It would be greatly appreciated for any donations or resources in order to get Ryan the help she needs in order to succeed. I appreciate the love and support we’re always shown, thank you all
