Support and Empower Ryan Remington's Continued Service

Hi and welcome!

My name is Mina, and I'm reaching out to ask for support for a wonderful human being, Ryan Remington. If you've crossed paths with this fine fella, no matter how brief, you've probably been made a little better. Ryan is a giver, a servant leader, and a humble one at that. He'd never ask for help for himself, no matter the greatness of need. He has served as Director of Partner Engagement for the Just Neighbors Interfaith Hospitality network helping our homeless brothers and sisters, he has served our community in recovery, he has served as a volunteer for food pantries, and is currently guiding the youth as their pastor at CUMC. He is also open and willing to share his own recovery story and mental health struggles to connect with others and help them with their own healing journeys.

Ryan found out, almost all at once, that he lost his aid for school, his funding for housing, as well as his insurance that covers his necessary medications. He has been unable to afford his meds for almost three weeks now, making daily life ever more challenging and stressful. His current contract with the church where he ministers is contingent upon his not working elsewhere, so his hands are a little tied with earning additional financial relief. Which is why I'm reaching out here.
