Empower Rosario Cristina's Path to College Success
Donation protected
My name is Norma L. Santiago and I am a single mother with a visual impairment. I am a teacher in the Elementary school level.
I am reaching out to request consideration for a donation to help cover my child’s educational expenses, particularly for this her senior year of high school, as well as associated costs that have become increasingly difficult to manage due to my disability.
As a single mother, I am committed to providing my child with the best opportunities for education and personal growth. However, my visual impairment has created challenges in having an additional job additional to teaching since I cannot drive at night and other limitations making it harder to meet the financial demands of my child’s education. With my child in her senior year, there are a variety of expenses such as tuition, senior trips, senior year activities, and graduation costs that I am struggling to afford. This donation would provide much-needed relief and ensure my child has the resources that she needs to succeed academically and participate in the milestones of her final year of high school. It would also help ease some of the financial strain, allowing me to better focus on my health in while supporting my child’s future. I am truly grateful for any assistance that you or your organization could provide.
My daughter, Rosario Cristina is a student in Ponce, Puerto Rico. She is a member of the National Honor Society and Rotary Interact Club in which she is a member of the Directives. I am proud to say that she is a very special student and classmate at her school. If anyone deserves all the happiness in the World, it’s this girl right here. This is why I reach out to you, because with your help, my daughter could finish her school year and embark into college and fulfill her dreams of becoming a professional.
Thank you for your time and consideration, and for supporting individuals and families in need.
Sincerely,
Norma L. Santiago
