Help Me Attend the National Youth Leadership Forum at Yale University
Hello! My name is Romeo Manrique, and I'm a student at Cass High School. I'm excited and nervous to share that l've been invited to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum:
Business Innovation at Yale University! This is a huge opportunity for me to learn and grow, and I'm asking for your support to make it happen.
Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I'm the oldest of four siblings, and I try my best to be a good role model for my sisters and brother. I want to set an example for them, showing them how to succeed and reach their goals in life. My mom is my biggest inspiration. She works incredibly hard to provide for us and give us everything we need— and even some things we want. She recently took on another job to help cover my academic expenses, my siblings' sports activities, and my own upcoming graduation.
Balancing it all has been a challenge, and I know it's not easy for her.
For the past 17 years, my mom has been my greatest supporter, and I hope to one day be able to give back and take care of her and our family when I begin my career. This business program at Yale is a key step toward my future. During this program, 'll gain valuable knowledge about business and the real world, hear from successful business leaders, and develop better leadership and communication skills. At the end of the program, we'll present our own business ideas.
Unfortunately, we are unable to cover the full tuition for this program, and that's where I'm asking for your help. Any contribution—no matter how big or small-would be greatly appreciated. Your support will help me attend this life-changing program and get one step closer to my goals.
Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. May God bless you all.
Sincerely,
Romeo Manrique
