In April 2018, I was diagnosed with ALS. At that time, I was told that I probably had 2-5 years to live. Pretty devastating news. Thankfully, the disease has been slowly progressing. However, I am spending more time in my power wheelchair, especially if I’m going to a ballgame or out for the day. Which is why I’m needing to get a wheelchair minivan.

I’ve been approved by the state of Florida to receive help covering the costs of modifications, but I have to cover the base model costs. Given the vehicle specifications from the state, the vehicle is less than three years old and has less than 30k miles.

I'm working with MobilityWorks Tampa and the cost will be $35-40k.

I am hoping to raise $5k to put $10k down so payments are more affordable.
