My name is Richard Lindsey and I am hoping to gain your support, in partnership, as I set out to reach my goal.
I am on a mission to generate support for for professional development and career advancement in Great Britain.
Professionally, I am an opera singer actively pursuing a career on the international circuit, voice technician to professional voice users and award winning artists and, I occasionally guest lecture at universities. I have appeared on MSNBC as a beacon for change in American society and have been a vocal advocate for various causes. I am a graduate of the University of California, Irvine and an alum of The University of Edinburgh--where I conducted funded research in voice science. In 2020, I founded a boutique organization with an initiative to advance musicians from under-privileged communities, through world-class training in the bel canto method and life coaching—my most successful students have gained admission and scholarships to: The Juilliard School, New England Conservatory, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, The University of Florida, University of Missouri, Kansas City and McGill University, naming a few.
I have been afforded a unique opportunity, becoming the first American to be offered an unconditional spot in the Artist Diploma program, at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, working with my mentor/tutor of choice.
This elite program is focused on aiding highly skilled professional artists with the opportunity to redefine their musical personality and increase their commercial viability. This training program will add even greater credibility to my work, providing me additional skills to employ on stages around the world, tailor made opportunities and connections to bring back to my local communities, in New Jersey and in California.
Right now, I am seeking the support of those who have shown a real belief in me, my legacy in the success of my students and, those many others who see the good in supporting this endeavor.
A great desire of mine, is to share the experiences I've acquired at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and on stages around the world, with my local communities and am willing to extend my experiences to you and/or your organization directly, through a guest speaking engagement, performance, teaching a masterclass, or making a public appearance at your event(s) to express gratitude.
While the listed goal was for initial expenses and visa costs, anything raised above the requested amount will cover educational related expenses, prioritizing funds for auditioning, travel and accomodation.
It is my hope that we can unite in my mission to reach this goal.
