Empower Raúl with the Ability to Drive

Meet Raúl Jimenez-Negron. He has been a member of our Lakeshore Community in Florida for the last 8 years. At age 16, Raúl was injured in a diving accident and has not walked since. He has spent over half of his life being lifted into vehicles whenever he needed to leave his community. Funds have been raised for a van for Raúl. The goal is to make accommodations for Raúl to be able to drive the van himself, allowing him the independence and freedom to live a full life.

Conozca a Raúl. Ha sido residente de Lakeshore, Florida por los últimos 8 años. Raúl tuvo un accidente y nunca volvió a caminar. Ha estado en una silla de ruedas desde entonces y siendo cargado las veces que sea transportado a otros lugares. Se ha recogido dinero para la compra de una furgoneta (van). La meta ahora es tener los fondos para modificar la misma para que la pueda manejar y así permitirle la independencia y la libertad para un vida llena.
