BIGKID DANCE has been advocating the queer dance community and making impactful dance works since 2021. Our mission still rings true, as our priority is to bring people together through our art making. With your support, we have been able to provide a safe space for queer dance artists to flourish, grow and connect to themselves and community on a deeper level.

From Mark: As the world around us closes in more and more, and art funding is being extensively cut, we need your support now more than ever! I have been self producing my own work for almost 10 years now, and it never seems to get easier. But queer art must be made, so we continue. I appreciate everyone who has guided me, supported me, given advice, or just loved me along the way. And I want to extend the invitation to continue to support my work and the work of my collaborators through this fundraiser. As the saying goes, every little bit helps, and it truly does.

BIGKIDS has some awesome opportunities approaching in 2026 and 2027, and your support will go a long way in bringing them to fruition. For the immediate, we are seeking support for our run of 'IF I DIE BEFORE THE REVOLUTION' at BOK for Philly Fringe Festival in September 2026.

BK Winter/Summer Program 2027

A week of workshops from influential queer interdisciplinary artists and the opportunity to work with director Mark Caserta in an intimate creative process setting. BK Summer/Winter Program has been supporting dance artists since 2021 in their efforts to grow, network and be a part of a greater community. Help us continue this amazing program and support these amazing artists!
