EMPOWER PERUVIAN GIRLS WITH SOCCER

Despite the dominance of soccer in Peru, only in very recent years has the game been offered to girls. This project focuses on providing technical soccer camps to vulnerable girls in extremely impoverished regions. Many of these girls have no option but to live on the streets or marry at a young age. Through soccer, they experience a "safe community," improve physical fitness, feel successful, develop strong self-esteem, and potentially realize scholastic opportunities for their future playing the game. This team environment creates lasting connections for these girls, with coaches, mentors, and teammates.

We have already funded two camps with excellent participation and success. We have also sent soccer cleats, team jerseys, and soccer balls to provide them with much-needed equipment.

Our story: We are a group of parents whose girls have benefitted from participating in soccer in Canada. Our girls have created lasting relationships, developed excellent teamwork skills, and learned discipline and perserverance through soccer. They had a life-changing experience playing soccer in Peru and helping in an orphanage. Now we want to give those opportunities to other girls who might otherwise never have that chance. You can donate as little or as much as you want. Please help us help them.
