This GoFundMe is being organized for Yash & Siddhesh Kate, 2 beautiful souls, from Balgram Orphanage, Panhala who wish to enroll in a 1-year diploma in Advance 3D Animation for the 2021 academic year. The diplomas will give them valuable experience on the job training which will enable them to graduate with a degree in 3D Animation so they can secure a full-time job upon graduation and become autonomous adults.

About the Fundraiser:

This fundraiser aims to cover both students’ tuition, books, and miscellaneous educational items (Amount: $4300 USD total/$2150 USD each).

Position Statement-

I have personally supported Balgram Orphanage and been a part of the kids ‘care for over 20 years. These kids and the orphanage are very close to my heart, and I am very grateful to have the backing from friends and family to continue to help brighten the kids’ future.

About Balgram Orphanage

Balgram Orphanage works with boys aged 3 and above. The orphanage provides rehabilitation of children who need care and protection. They recognize the continuous hardship and struggle these kids face: homelessness, abandonment, hunger, lack of education and access to medical care. Their mission is to help these children grow like any typical child by providing shelter, an education, and most importantly, belonging to a family. Integral to the care and rehabilitation the orphanage provides is ensuring that the kids become self-reliant and reintegrate smoothly into society.

Balgram kids have gone on to become successful engineers, managers, IT professionals, social workers, and teachers. They have even gone overseas and have built successful careers. This is due to the love, support, and guidance of the carers and managers at the orphanage who are supported by donors such as you!

Yash & Siddhesh Kate are both 16 years old. They have been brought up and taken care of by Bagram Orphanage since they were young. They had to overcome many challenges in the form of trauma, societal pressures, and pushback. Yash & Siddhesh Kate are grateful for the opportunities the orphanage has provided. They know that to realize their potential and continue to build upon their best strengths they need to continue their education in an environment free of fears and insecurity about their future; in a place that can fully support their educational goals and personal growth.
