I am currently striving to finish course work to receive a BA degree and then to complete a teaching internship. I should successfully earn the BA by August 2024. I am currently an instructional aide that works for students who are BIPOC and neuro divergent. I have dedicated my knowledge and compassion to the

students for over ten years now. I am

proud to have finally found the courage and tenacity to return to university and seize the opportunity to become the type of teacher these students deserve. I have been struggling with several challenges over time but have one major

obstacle still in my way. My

transcripts are being held by a previous university I attended. If I fail to pay this debt in full I will not be eligible to get my degree and start teaching. I have attempted to make payments over time but the institution in question has refused to accept my offer. So I am forced to use this fundraiser as a last resort. Appealing to the generosity of the larger community has been extremely difficult for me. But I am willing to accept the help and I am deeply grateful for everyone who can donate and share this fundraiser.
