I’m 21 years old and have been trying to figure out my future. After years of feeling stuck, overwhelmed, depressed, and like I’m not in control, I’ve figured out the road I want to go down with my life and I have figured out what I want to do. I’m raising $5,500 to fund a launchpad for my future. Your support will help me.

Going Back to College and Taking Control of My Education

At the end of last semester, I convinced myself that dropping out and giving up on working towards my degree in Meteorology was what I had to do to pursue my dreams as a prospective entrepreneur and because I felt like I hated college.

However, I have now realized that the truth is I didn’t hate college, I simply felt as though it was an obligation rather than a personal choice. That led to burnout and a feeling of not being in control.

Now I’ve chosen, on my own terms, to continue my education, and this time because I want to work towards a Software Engineering degree to support my long-term goals as an online entrepreneur and YouTuber, open up opportunities for a future career in tech, and to improve my skills with technology. I’m choosing a flexible, accredited program that I’ll fund myself, with your help.

Moving Out: Building My Future

I’m working towards a new chapter where I can focus fully on pursuing my software engineering degree, work towards my business goals, and grow my YouTube channel. Moving out may be an important step of this journey. Having the option to move when the time is right would give me the flexibility to create the best environment for focusing on my goals.

With your help, I’ll have the money available to cover moving expenses when the time comes. If I decide to hold off from moving out until later, your support will still go towards my moving and living expenses when I eventually make the transition.

Growing My YouTube Channel: Providing Extreme Weather Coverage to Americans and Weather History Content

I also run a weather-focused YouTube channel where I provide vital live coverage during some of America’s worst storms, create forecast videos and briefings for the United States, and create videos about past major weather events like tornado outbreaks and hurricanes. I am also starting a Shopify store where I sell print-on-demand products that have to do with weather and branding.

Your support will upgrade my equipment, upgrade my streaming and recording software, improve my video quality, and grow this into a sustainable part of my career while I am providing potentially life-saving extreme weather coverage to Americans.

Starting A Business

I also plan on starting a business that ties into my passion for weather. One business model that I have thought of is weather-triggered marketing for local-service area businesses, which would be automation of marketing and communication from local-service area businesses specifically triggered by weather conditions. As I am still brainstorming my business plan, my plan is to start working on it next year after I accumulate savings.
