Empower Niambi E. Stanley's Community Impact

Donation protected

Hello, My name is Niambi E. Stanley, otherwise known as Niambi Prodigy in the underground LGBTQ ballroom scene. I have been involved with the ballroom scene for 31 years. I am a Black Trans Woman who has been blessed in a world that shames, ridicules, and brings violence to trans people, to make it to 45 years old. I have been a victim of domestic violence, sexual assault, and having to survive as an adult ever since I was a child. I have always been a person who has lived life on life's terms, while helping as many people as I can along the way. After spending the majority of my life scraping to get by, in 2015, I decided to venture into business, and non profit work, continuing to help those even more marginalized than me. That in itself has finally taken its toll.

I have maintained the place where I live, along with my mother for the last 13 years, in an attempt to balance my personal, professional life, along with caretaking for her. She has given her life to helping others as she worked for our local Lancaster General Hospital for 40 years.

In 2023, I lost my mother due to swelling in her brain and for anyone who has lost a parent knows, IT WAS DEVASTATING physically, mentally, and financially. I have always been the one to be a matriarch of sorts being there for family and friends. Im the one everyone comes to for help, advice, insight, opinions, as well as money. Going from two incomes to one income, while building myself in business, while the cost of living getting worse has literally exhausted everything in me. I have attempted to acquire funding through loans, and grants, but the systems that are in place prevent me from receiving, appropriate funding to get on my feet, as I literally maintain all of my businesses and non-profits from home.

So in essence, I lose my place, I lose my businesses, and everything I worked so hard to build. I am in need of EMERGENCY DIRECT AID not opinions.

Through my brand that I have built from scratch over the last 30 years, and with the inception of social media, I have garnered a vast following that appreciates me for my talents, insight, and opinions on serious issues affecting the intersections of communities I am apart of. From Black, Trans, Women, as well stigmas surrounding HIV. Providing much needed awareness and prevention

As a prominent and influential figure in my community, Im seeking my goal to finally get my feet on solid ground and continue building for the next generations in my community. Below are the list of businesses, as well as the purpose of my goal. I have received a bunch of accolades and awards for my talent in the ballroom scene as well as my work in activism which include:

Starting in 2020, Black Trans Enterprise Inc is a collective of minority owned businesses that promotes tech education
and entrepreneurship, combining the use of computer hardware, software, education theory, the practice of facilitating learning,
the introduction to digital marketing, and advertising as well as affiliate programs to assist in scaling their new business.
Black Trans Enterprise Inc officially became its own entity in December of 2020. Tech Managers, Web Strategists,
and Growth Marketing in tech are the new frontier in business, and Black Trans Enterprise Inc wants to make sure that communities
that have the least hope have the education and resources they need to build a solid foundation.
Opportunities such as these are not always readily available for those in minority, low income communities,
Black Trans Enterprise Inc hopes to change that.

In addition to helping others start, grow, and scale their businesses, which have all become successful.

The way I have been able to maintain this from home, on a fixed SSI income, is truly a force of nature, but honestly I cannot do it alone anymore

The funds generated from this fundraiser will help:

Maintaining monthly expenses:

Catch up with Back rent and utilities:

Rent $1150 monthly of which $750.00 is still needed for August
Gas $1100 due to a house mate completely disappearing and not returning (mind you Im still housing all of his things)
and to also pay ahead in rent of my pending colonoscopy scheduled for August 12th
Marketing and Advertising brand and business
Replacement Birth Certificate
Traveling Expenses to get events I'm asked to speak, in as well of outside of the community
Passport to attend international events
A used car to get to and from Doctors Appointments, currently in danger of losing care
Yearly Graphic Designing subscriptions, so I'm able to work upon the conclusion of this fundraiser.
To Pay back an angel donor who has been helping me thus far and is now almost in the same predicament that Im in.
To pay off existing business tradelines to build my business' credit.
To repair personal credit and build a substantial credit score.

Often times people stigmatize and weaponize a person's need for help, but with the world we live in not designed for people that share my life experience, and it makes it virtually impossible to live day to day. At the end of the day, all Im truly asking for is to put my story in front of the people, and places that ARE in the position to help.

I thank you in advance to anyone, and everyone who is able to support, donate or share.
