Please help support emerging Native performing artists by supporting my new play, Devil Girl, and its inclusion in LimeFest 2025 in NYC ! In order to pay each actor, our director, and the production stage manager for their labor in bringing the words off the page, we need your help reaching our goal.

Devil Girl is a feminist coming-of-age story about a 2Spirit Native girl transforming into Deer Woman, an iconic Native mythological figure. It was a healing, radical process to write this play, a piece of Native feminist theater in a time of increased suppression. I’m deeply excited for it to be presented by The Tank, a non-profit new work incubator space in midtown NYC. It will be a part of LimeFest, a festival of new, zesty works by emerging artists and creative teams who identify as women, non-binary, or gender non-conforming. To have Devil Girl succeed in LimeFest this August, we need your help.

There are six actors, a director, and production stage manager that will each be paid for their artistry. A majority of our goal, will go directly to artists. Without being able to offer a stipend for their labor, many actors will not be able to participate, and Devil Girl will not reach the stage. Making a contribution to Devil Girl will help bring this play to NYC and support Native performing artists directly. Any help in reaching our funding goal will help me share my voice as a Native playwright and support my collaborators.
