Hi, my name is Natalia Nelson. I am a 16-year-old horse rider who is entering my first Hunter Jumping competition at the Paso Robles Hunter Jump Fall Classic.

Throughout my riding career, my passion for show jumping and horses has profoundly impacted my life. For over a year, I have been an active rider, jumping 2’3-2’6 courses with my barn, Sea Scape Sport Horses. As a rider who started with a dressage foundation, I find I adapted to jumping quickly. During this time, I have had the privilege of riding a variety of horses, each contributing uniquely to my growth and understanding of the sport.

Although I have not competed, I have participated in several horse clinics, which have been instrumental in honing my skills and knowledge. I am highly competitive and hold myself to high standards, working hard and learning with each ride. This mindset not only applies to my time with horses but also to my approach to competing, setting myself up for future showing opportunities and continuous improvement.
