Empower My Future: Support My Education in DC

Greetings from the East Coast! I’m excited to share that I am currently interning with the Department of Agriculture (DOA) here in Washington, DC. Recently, I was thrilled to be accepted into George Washington University’s dual Master’s program in Public Policy and Data Science. Given this incredible opportunity, I have decided to stay in DC after my internship to pursue my higher education.

The most significant challenge I am facing now is securing housing. As a full-time student reliant on financial aid and working an unpaid internship, financial support is crucial to make my dream of working in government a reality. The semester begins on August 29, and I am aiming to raise $3,000 to cover my initial expenses.

Here's the breakdown of my needs:

-Rent and Security Deposit: $2,500 (monthly rent of $1,250 plus a security deposit)

-George Washington University enrollment deposit: $250

-School Supplies, Transportation, Food, and Other Necessities: $250
