Monte del Sol (MdS) Charter School’s Casa Program serves families who are unstably or inadequately housed. Casa ensures all MdS students equal access to public education, as required by the federal McKinney Vento Act (1986).

Casa students are eligible for free breakfast and lunch through the MdS Foundation, a tax-exempt non-profit charitable organization under IRS code 501(c)(3) with federal tax ID 85-0456767.

Casa engages parents and supports the whole family, a proven strategy for student success. The program collaborates with local organizations to help with rent and utility bills. On campus, Casa operates a food, clothing, and school supplies bank.
