Empower Mom's Path to Recovery

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy but hopeful heart to ask for help on behalf of my incredible mom. Over the past few years, she has been through some of life’s toughest battles — including homelessness, addiction, and a congestive heart failure diagnosis. But in the face of it all, she never gave up.

This past year, my mom has completely turned her life around. She’s about to celebrate one full year of sobriety, she has her own apartment, and she works hard every single day as a delivery driver to support herself. She has faced every challenge with strength and determination — even pushing through a terrifying health scare, and now she’s getting healthier and stronger every day.

To help her get back on her feet, I gave her my old car. It became her lifeline — her way to work, earn a living, and stay independent. But last week, everything changed when she was hit by someone speeding through an intersection. The car was totaled.

Thankfully, she walked away with only some bruises — but now, she’s left without transportation and without a way to earn an income.

My sisters and I are doing what we can right now, but we are coming up a bit short. We're hoping to raise enough funds to cover the extra costs to get her into another reliable vehicle as soon as possible so she can continue working and stay on this amazing path she’s worked so hard to build.
