Mom's House is a Non-Profit organization within Minot, North Dakota that was founded by Katie Nelson, MSW who found that there are many barriers within the Minot community for mothers. The 6 bed women's shelter is located in a small home that is centrally located within the city. The shelter has a board of directors made up of area women and mental health professionals. The shelter provides not just shelter but outreach services for women.
