Hi, my name is Mickey Dustin McDowell. I am a 39 year old San Diego local who has gone through a rather dramatic change over the last year. I kicked a number of bad habits, and as a result I’ve become quite driven to get the most out of life from here on out.

I’ve taken up running recently, and I believe I have what it takes to run the PB 5k AND half marathon. I just registered for the 5k, however to be honest, money is tight right now and I simply can’t afford the 160 to register for the half marathon.. I really want to do this, not just for me, but for all the people who showed me love growing up. I owe my family and friends a better ME, they put a lot of love into me, and they deserve a better person than what I’ve been..

Consider this my next big step in becoming the man my family and friends deserve.
