CARES.green—Communities Advancing Recovery, Empowerment, Sustainability—is a care-farm-finding app and care-proliferating nonprofit that connects individuals to land-based mental health care experts and communities everywhere. Our website is www.cares.green.
We believe in care which focuses on healing one's connection to self, community, and ecology.
Two Hands, One Heart
Our digital platform and charity nonprofit act as two hands of one entity to achieve our mission. The nonprofit distributes charitable donations for the advancement and creation of care farms (existing and intending) while the public benefit corporation digital platform supports creates an economically stimulating online space.
Our Team
Our co-founding team includes a tech lead and operations manager, a marketing lead, and a communications lead. We're looking forward to being able to hire grant writers, legal help, and data and software engineers to build and operate this multi-faceted project.
Build it or bust!
To build a competitive and architecturally sound digital platform as well as an effective global charity, we need to hire experienced experts in relevant fields, including:
- digital architecture
- charity organizing
- project management
- philanthropic budget advancement, management
- grant/scholarship application
- research and publishing
If we don't reach our goal, all funds will still support the advancements of this initiative.
