Empower Maria Gladis with a Powered Wheelchair :)

Hi all! We are raising funds to help my dear friend in El Salvador, Maria Gladis. We would like to buy her a new front door (her current door doesn't lock), an electric wheelchair, and a ramp. To get groceries each week, she either has to pay for someone to give her a ride, or find someone to buy food for her, or push her in her wheelchair. She can walk short distances with her crutches, but the grocery store is around 1 kilometer away, so it would be too far. An electric wheelchair and ramp would allow her the freedom to leave her house more often to run errands and also visit neighbors more, which would really increase her quality of life.

She used to be the vice principal of Colegio Ridvan, an elementary school, but her condition declined a number of years ago and she has not been able to work since. She has devoted so much of her life to serving others, and deserves this more than anyone I know :)
