Empower Malaya Williams' Journey to College

Hi, my name is Malaya Williams. I started this GoFundMe page to have the opportunity to raise money for college and future endeavors. Not only does it put in goals, but it helps me build a community of people that support people like me.

I would like the opportunity to raise $20,000 for myself so that I don’t have to choose work over my education. This money will help me with many different internships, buying myself a car, and better yet, everything I need to start my journey to college. The odds are always against me because of my gender and race, but I don’t want where I came from to stop me from achieving any aspirations in life. This will benefit me in the long run because I can finally be the first in my family to go to an HBCU on campus and explain to everyone that if I can, anybody can!

Getting a career in the healthcare field is about helping others no matter what their financial status is or whatever they have done in life, and hopefully, you guys can help me do the same. To sum it up, I will always be sure to keep you guys updated and show you my progress!
