Empower Latrell with a Wheelchair Accessible Van

Hello my name is Theasha, I am doing this go fund me for my son Latrell. On June 19th of 2020 my 17 year old son was in a horrible car accident. A car that was running from the police exited the freeway at very high speed and crashed into the car my son was in. He went from being an energetic, fun, loving carefree teenager to the complete opposite. He suffered a traumatic brain injury and can no longer walk or speak. He was in a coma for about 6 months. He isnt able to feed, bathe or use the restroom on his own. One side of his body is paralyzed and was in hospitals and nursing facilities until October of 2023 when I was finally able to bring him home and greatful that I was able to. I am Latrell's sole caregiver. The reason we are asking for donations is to purchase a wheelchair accessible van so that I am able to get him out of the house more and take him places. He isn't able to get into a regular vehicle so he is basically confined to the house. He also misses out on a lot of family functions because of this transportation issue.
