ACTNow, a grassroots organization dedicated to educating, elevating, and empowering marginalized communities in Oklahoma, is raising funds for the fourth annual Sin Límites, a transformative no-cost summer program for Latina/o high schoolers!

In today’s political climate, it is more important than ever to uplift and support Latine youth and their families. Sin Límites was created to do just that, with three key goals: teaching Latin American and culturally relevant history, increasing college access, and fostering community engagement.

Programs like this are essential in Oklahoma, one of the states with the lowest Latino higher education attendance rate in the nation, a challenge worsened by limited access to culturally relevant education and restrictive policies like House Bill 1775. Research, including a Stanford University study, highlights the benefits of such curricula in boosting student attendance, graduation rates, and college aspirations.

Your donation will directly support our educators and program coordinator, cover meals, and enable field trips to places like the Oklahoma State Capitol, museums, and community centers. Additionally, funds will contribute to student scholarships, helping to ensure that our students not only dream big but also have the resources to achieve their goals.
