LATASHA'S JOURNEY TO SOUTH KOREA FOR THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

My name is Nick Dodson. I'm the founder of Team Dodson Elite Track Club. I also coach my wife, Latasha Dodson. Latasha is from a small-town in Calhoun County Alabama called Choccolocco. She is a graduate of White Plains High School in 2008 and finished her undergraduate degree from Jacksonville State University in Alabama in 2012. She has two masters’ degrees. She earned a Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida Institute of Technology in 2014. She also earned her Masters in Kinesiology from Southeastern University (FL) in 2022. She currently resides in Lakeland, FL.
Latasha is one of the top Masters Track and Field hurdlers in the World. She has won 17 USATF Masters National Titles since 2021 and she was named the W30 National Track and Field Athlete of the Year in 2023. She was ranked #1 in the world in her age group in 2024-2025 in the 100m Hurdles and 400m Hurdles with personal best of 13.65 and 59.24 in those events. Her dream is to represent the United States at the World Championships and to become World Champion. Latasha has her eyes set on the 2026 WMA World Championships in Daegu, South Korea. She has a great opportunity to accomplish her goal, but we will need some great support from family, friends, and many others to help her reach her goal. The world championships are around 2 weeks long. Contributions will go towards getting Latasha and I (her coach) to South Korea and we have everything we need to help her accomplish her goal. Contributions will go towards airfare, visas, lodging, transportation, meals, equipment, entry fee, apparel, and any other things needed for Latasha to bring back Gold to the United States.
She works very hard every day as a devoted wife, mother, and full-time athlete. She works hard to not just meet her goals, she exceeds them. She is setting an example for others by showing them that they can accomplish anything.
Any donation is a blessing, and we are grateful. We are starting early so we have more than enough time to prepare. Feel free to donate and help make Latasha's dream become a reality. Thank you in advance and God Bless. #TeamDodson
