Empower Lake Travis Athletes' Mental Wellness

Support Athlete Mental Health at Lake Travis
Hi, I’m Maebry, a Lake Travis basketball player and the campus ambassador for Morgan’s Message, a nationwide organization dedicated to breaking the stigma around student-athlete mental health.

Mental health is as important as physical health, yet many athletes feel pressured to endure their struggles silently. Last month, we tragically lost a fellow Lake Travis athlete to suicide—a heartbreaking reminder that support systems for student-athletes need to be stronger. No one should ever feel alone in their battle.

I’m launching this GoFundMe to grow Morgan’s Message at Lake Travis and create a safe, supportive space for athletes to talk openly about mental health. Your donations will help fund:

✅ Awareness Campaigns – Spreading the message that mental health matters through posters, social media, and outreach.
✅ Guest Speakers & Events – Invite experts, athletes, and mental health advocates to share their experiences and resources.
✅ Meetings & Support Groups – Providing a welcoming environment where athletes can connect and share without judgment.
✅ Materials & Resources – Offering educational tools to help students understand and prioritize their mental well-being.

(Note: Funds will be used solely for Morgan’s Message initiatives at Lake Travis and are separate from any official school funding.)

Every donation—big or small—makes a real impact. By supporting this cause, you’re helping to honor those we’ve lost and ensure that no athlete feels alone in their struggles.

Let’s change the culture. Let’s break the stigma—together.
