Hello! We’re Regina and Sebastian, currently traveling through Latin America and Africa — and we’ve landed here in beautiful Watamu, Kenya. We’re volunteering at Bluebells School, a rural primary school founded by the inspiring Jax Comyn and her team, including headmistress Mwana, to bring early education to children in need.
Every day, we’re welcomed by bright, smiling faces and so much curiosity and energy. The children at Bluebells are incredibly eager to learn, full of life, and endlessly grateful for even the simplest things. Being here has deeply moved us. It’s made us realize — more than ever — how powerful and transformative education is. And also, how painfully unfair it is that something so fundamental is still a privilege in many parts of the world.
We know we can’t change the whole world — but we do believe that small actions can create meaningful change. And that’s why we’re reaching out. We want to give something back to the children who give us so much joy every day.
100% of all donations will go directly to Bluebells School in Watamu — we are here on-site and personally ensuring every euro is used meaningfully. One of our first projects is to provide proper football goals for the children. Right now, they play with two rusty poles stuck in the ground - but we believe even the smallest upgrades can bring huge joy (and who knows, maybe the next Kenyan football star is already out there on the pitch!). Beyond that, your donations will help buy much-needed school supplies like books, pencils, and art materials — and help fund daily meals for the children.
We’ve been so inspired by this school and the children we work with, and we’d love for you to be part of this journey. Your support, no matter how big or small, makes a real difference. From the bottom of our hearts - thank you.
Regina & Sebastian
