Empower Kayla: Donate for a Life-Changing Prosthetic Arm

My name is Estera Bogdan, and I’m writing to you as a mom with a heart full of love and hope for my daughter, Kayla. She’s 18 years old, full of dreams, strength, and determination — and now, she needs your help.
Kayla was born without her right arm. From the very beginning, she faced the world with a courage far beyond her years. Throughout her childhood she had undergone three major surgeries — not because she ever let her difference hold her back, but because she wanted to explore every possibility for independence.
Despite the physical challenges, Kayla has never let her condition define her. She’s an incredible young woman — smart, compassionate, and driven. She’s been working at Chick-fil-A for the past year and is looking forward to the next chapter of her life with so much hope. But one thing has always been out of reach: a functional, high-quality prosthetic arm.
Unfortunately, prosthetic limbs — especially the kind that offer real mobility and dexterity — are incredibly expensive. We’re looking at tens of thousands of dollars for the device, fittings, therapy, and follow-up care. As a family, we’ve done everything we can, but we simply can’t do it alone.
This is where we’re asking for your help.
Your support can help Kayla gain a sense of physical freedom she’s never truly had. She dreams of being able to do everyday things — cooking, painting her nails, and hugging with both arms — not just more easily, but more fully. This prosthetic will give her the independence and confidence she’s worked so hard for her entire life.
Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to making this dream come true for her. If you’re unable to give right now, simply sharing her story means more than you know.
Thank you for reading Kayla’s story and for being part of something truly life-changing. We’ll keep you updated on her journey, and we’re endlessly grateful for your love and support. May God Bless you!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Kayla’s mother
