Hello! My name is Kaya and I play the cello.

I very excited to be graduating from the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music with a BM in Cello performance this spring.

I am creating this fundraiser in hopes of financing my relocation to New York City this fall, where I am looking forward to pursuing my master's degree at the Juilliard School.

While Juilliard has been generous enough to honor my talent with a full tuition scholarship, I have no funds yet to cover expenses such as rent, food, transportation and fees. My cost per year are estimated to be around $30,000.

My career and educational advancements until this point have been made possible through scholarships and the kindness of many wonderful mentors. Combined with the hard work and discipline I strive to maintain, I believe that anything is possible. Thank you so much for your generosity and consideration!
