Empower Kareem's Future In Dentistry
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Rebekah, and I'm fundraising for my dear friend, Kareem. Below is his story, in his own words.
Hello, my name is Kareem, and I'm a fourth-year dental student from Gaza with a strong dedication to helping my community through dentistry. Unfortunately, my life was drastically altered when my university was bombed, resulting in the loss of all my essential tools, books, and supplies.
Living in Gaza means facing constant uncertainty. The recent conflict has wreaked havoc on many lives, mine included. The university, which represented a beacon of hope for me, is now in ruins. All the equipment and materials I needed to continue my education have been destroyed.
I have devoted countless hours and significant effort to reach my fourth year in dental school. My family and I made substantial sacrifices to purchase the necessary instruments and textbooks. Without these resources, I cannot continue my education or pursue my dream of helping others.
This GoFundMe campaign is an appeal for assistance. I need both tuition and to replace my dental instruments, textbooks, and other educational materials to continue my studies. The cost of these items exceeds $3,000, a financial burden my family cannot shoulder alone, especially under these trying circumstances. Additionally, I need $15,000 per year for university fees to complete my dental education, totaling $30,000 for the remaining two years. I’ve decided to divide the goal into milestones, the first $20,000 will go towards the upcoming semester, my necessary instruments, and GoFundMe fees and taxes.
Each donation, no matter how small, brings me one step closer to restoring my education and future. Your support will not only help me return to my studies but also enable me to provide essential dental care to those in need within my community.
I am extremely grateful for any help you can offer. Thank you for believing in my dream and assisting me in overcoming this immense challenge. Together, we can transform this tragedy into an opportunity for growth and resilience.
Thank you for your generosity and support.
With sincere gratitude,
Kareem
