Through volunteering at John P. Parker Public School, I’ve had the privilege of getting to know the incredible kids who go there and work hard every single day. After speaking with the resource coordinator and basketball coach, I realized that not every student has the same opportunities or access to resources that many of us take for granted. Before I head off to college, I want to give back to the community that I grew up in by investing in the next generation of athletes.

The funds raised will be used to provide transportation so athletes can attend games and practices. We’ll also invest in healthy meals to fulfill their nutritional needs, and supply basketball shoes, water bottles, bags, and basketballs. These essentials will help level the playing field, giving every athlete a fair chance to compete and grow, regardless of their background.
