Hi friends, family, and kind supporters,
My name is Jenna Gibson and I am a Junior at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette studying biology with a concentration in Medicine.
I’m excited to share that I’ve been given an incredible opportunity to participate in a medical study abroad program in Costa Rica, where I’ll be gaining hands-on experience in healthcare while also helping underserved communities access much-needed care.
This program is more than just a chance to learn — it’s a chance to make a real difference. I’ll be working alongside local medical professionals, assisting with clinics, shadowing doctors, and supporting patients who often have limited access to medical resources.
To make this opportunity a reality, I’m raising funds to help cover the cost of travel, lodging, program fees, and supplies. My goal is 6,000, and any contribution — big or small — will go directly toward helping me serve others while growing in my future career in medicine.
I know not everyone can give, but even sharing this link and praying over this trip would mean so much. Thank you for supporting me in this journey — your generosity helps bring care to those who need it and helps shape the future of healthcare.
