Jays Mission to Getting More Mobil
Donation protected
Hello, I'm Jay,
I am raising money to get an E-bike and Gear so I can have better range and be able to get to work daily.
I live to work on a farm in an isolated rural town, far from my small network of friends. The closest store and town is more than a 2.5 hour walk away. I've walked before for on job interviews. At my age this is unsustainable in a long term situation. As I live up in the mountains, the roads are filled with steep inclines. They aren't always the safest to walk, especially at night with no street lights.
This option is affordable, doesn't require gas or insurance, and is good for the environment. It's consistent, and doesn't require additional funding after the bike is built. I am raising this small amount to cover the bike, delivery costs, and safety equipment for riding. I am 6'5, 240 lbs, this dual motor bike I've chosen seems to be the best, and cheapest on the market with solid American tech support.
If we can get 30 people to donate $100, this goal can be accomplished with grace and ease.
I am a 50-year-old man with no family in the US. I have been working since I was 10. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. I have been on my own since I was 17. After group home housing and being abandoned by my mother, I went to Job Corps in Hazelton, PA. I studied for my G.E.D. and Carpentry, as life in Brooklyn wasn't so easy with a Single mother with mental illness. I've been through a lot, but mostly my life has been a TOUGH SUCCESS. This is extremely difficult to ask and bare myself.
I am willing to offer services in return:
Over $150 donation: Handmade artwork sent through the mail on paper.
Over $250 donation: I will have you send me a canvas that I will make a piece of custom art on with your direction and send back.
Over $350 donation: A full day's work at your job or home in the local Hudson Valley, or NYC, Brooklyn area, provided the weather is decent and our schedules align. I do many forms of construction, and mid-winter is the slow season upstate. I am looking to get any work I can working inside for the time being.
Here is the Math breakdown

I ask you to find the kindness and help with this journey. Thank you for reading and bless your journey.
Thanks in advance,
JAY
