Empower Ivie's Chess Journey to Greatness!
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Stacia, and I’m thrilled to share the incredible journey of Ivie Ureto, a 10 year old chess activist from Nigeria. Ivie’s unwavering passion for chess, combined with her father’s dedication, has led her on an inspiring path toward achieving her dream of becoming a Grandmaster.
Support from Chess in Slums Africa :
Ivie’s NYC journey has been made possible through the support of Chess in Slums Africa (CISA), a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting children from underserved communities through chess, STEM education, and socio-emotional development. Founded by Tunde Onakoya, CISA has secured lifelong scholarships for over 200 children from indigent homes, providing them with opportunities to realize their full potential.
How You Can Help:
Your support will directly contribute to Ivie’s ongoing development by:
*Funding her participation in rated over-the-board (OTB) tournaments.
*Providing access to elite coaching and training resources.
*Supporting her educational pursuits alongside her chess career.
Together, we can empower Ivie to reach new heights in her chess journey and inspire countless others in similar circumstances. Thank you for being a part of Ivie’s story and for helping turn her dreams into reality!
