PENNSYLVANIA PRISONERS - LEGAL RIGHTS ADVOCACY & ASSISTANCE

This GoFundMe has been established to raise public awareness and financial support in furtherance of providing legal rights advocacy and assistance to a forgotten and overlooked class of underprivileged individuals within the Pennsylvania state prison system.

Isiah Andrew Roten is a Pennsylvania State Prisoner who is currently raising money to purchase a Swintec Model 2410cc Personal Typewriter, 1 year extended warranty, Typewriter Supplies, Typewriter Ribbons, Typewriter Carbon and Brightness Paper, and Shipping & Handling Costs, inter alia.

For the past six years, Isiah has been educating himself on civil, criminal, and business law-successfully and actively litigating multiple Civil Actions in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh Division. Isiah has also successfully challenged an illegal resentencing on appeal to the Superior Court of Pennsylvania and the Court of Common Pleas in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Isiah has previously been employed at one of his previous institutions, State Correctional Institution at Greene, as an Inmate Legal Reference Aide in 2024/2025, where he was paid to assist physically and mentally disabled prisoners with their filings of legal documents. Isiah is currently an inmate at State Correctional Institution at Huntingdon, Pennsylvania.

Although Isiah is no longer paid to help other prisoners with legal advocacy and assistance, Isiah continues to assist any prisoners that ask him for help. Isiah helps other prisoners with filing many different documents, including but not limited to:

•Requests To Staff Members;

•Protection From Abuse;

•Religious Accommodation and Diet Request;

•Disability Accommodation Request;

•Grievance;

•Civil and Criminal Court Filings.
